We were tasked with an exciting project for Kinder Cards. The objective was clear: to increase shelf visibility, engage consumers more deeply, and renew the product’s novelty. Our mission was not just to market a snack but to create an experience that sparked a sense of wonder during kids’ break time.
Inspired by the unique card-like shape of Kinder Cards, we saw an opportunity to turn the product into a playful interaction. We redesigned the packaging to include interactive games printed on the back of each pack, transforming each Kinder Cards pack into a mini-game board.
But the innovation didn’t stop at the packaging. To make sure Kinder Cards stood out on shelves, we enhanced the front of the pack with a captivating call-to-action that invited kids and parents to discover the games on the back. This approach not only made the packaging more engaging but also more visible and attractive in the crowded snack aisle.
To further increase consumer engagement and extend the novelty of the product, the target was redirected to visit the Kinder Cards website as a digital playground. Here, families could find additional games and activities that continued the theme of playful discovery, encouraging repeated interaction with the brand both offline and online.
This strategy conveyed to parents that choosing Kinder Cards was more than just picking a snack; it was about adding a dash of magic to their kids' daily routines. By adding games directly into the packaging, we not only fulfilled our goals but also distinguished Kinder Cards from its competitors, creating snack times that were truly “wonderful”.
